Project:
Creative Images Photo Club is a small Milwaukee base photography group with a focus on helping local enthusiasts pursue their passion for creating photographic imagery. Creative Images Photo Club was looking for a look and feel for their web site, which would allow them to showcase their work and provide a resource through which other photographers could communicate with Creative Images Photo Club members.

Requirements for the new website:

  • Provide a gallery for each member of the Creative Images Photo Club to showcase their work to Studios to site visitors.
  • Provide contact information to the public quickly and easily.
  • Provide a forum through which members can share ideas.
  • Provide information in a clean and easy to navigate web site.
  • Provide the above items in an aesthetically pleasing format.
  • Provide a site that offers in house maintenance for key areas.
  • Provide a calendar of local events that may provide photographic opportunities for local enthusiasts.

Goals:
Creative Images Photo Club contacted Synapse Designs, Inc® about designing their current web site because they wanted a look and feel that accurately portrayed the work of its members. The look and feel had to be clean and creative while offering the best view of the art work and not competing with it. Synapse Designs, Inc® was selected because of our focus on the customer and their current and future objectives for their web presence.

Solutions:
The new Creative Images Photo Club website now offers its visitors a consistent aesthetic look and feel allowing visitors to rapidly assimilate the navigation and thereby find the information they seek in a timely manor. The site has also been designed with the same strict focus on download speeds that is applied to all sites developed by Synapse Designs, Inc®. The use of administrative interfaces offers Creative Images Photo Club members the freedom they need to manage the site without placing a large financial burden on themselves by having the work done by an outside vendor.
